Crest View students tackle STEM activities with The Works Museum

Crest View Elementary School students in grades kindergarten, 1 and 3 got to put their creative construction caps on during the afternoon of March 23, when representatives from The Works Museum, an interactive children’s museum in Bloomington, came to the school to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) projects with the school’s scholars.

Kindergarteners spent the morning experimenting with the reflection and absorption of light and built kaleidoscopes to take home. First and third grade students dug into the engineering design process with their mini catapult construction.
