Crest View Elementary hosts Vocabulary Parade

Cheers and smiles filled the hallways of Crest View Elementary on Feb. 28 as the school hosted its annual Vocabulary Parade. Every student selected a word, studied its meaning, then decorated a poster, vest or hat with information about their vocabulary word for the parade. 

Students, staff and parents lining the hallways to give high-fives and cheer for the classes coming through. Some classrooms had a theme that all their vocabulary words related to, such as all fifth grade words relating to the William Shakespeare play A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which the students are currently studying.
